Throwback: cheesy memories from the past 2 years

In the past weeks my Facebook was suggesting to re-share stuff that I posted 2 years ago. I got quite emotional as these memories will be some of my dearest ones. The times when I was building dCommerce, making new friends, new connections and beating challenges like a boss.

I used to stay in Hilton Wembley whenever I went to London to meet my British clients.

London plays an important role in my life. In 2011 I went there in hope of a good job but didn’t find anything satisfying and after living there for a few months I decided to leave.

Few years later I started to go back for meetings at Corinthia London, then from 2016 I was attending there to meet my clients and business partners. Sometimes I went back to Woolwhich to see where I started from. I will never forget it.

Dalat, Vietnam

This trip to Vietnam was the first after I left my full time job at Corinthia. I was really happy to work remotely.

Many personal memories connect me to Dalat. Once this was my favorite place in Vietnam but after some unfortunate events I don’t feel like going back. I remember how happy I was working from the large veranda, overlooking the forest. My first time being totally free.

Ho Chi Minh City

So many things happened in this city. I don’t know if I love it or hate it but every time I came here my life changed a bit.

When the first time I saw Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, I was flying home from Hanoi to Malta. The plane stopped there for an hour. It was night, the sky was clear and I was fascinated by the beautiful skyline, the lights and the busy roads. When I saw it, I knew that it will play in important role in my life.

Since then I lost count of how many times I visited Saigon for business but every time it was changing my life a bit. Either personally, financially or by changing my views. Ho Chi Minh City is one of the most important locations in my life till date.

I crashed my car because of listening drum & bass, then I started driving trashy 4x4.

My home base and sanctuary, Malta. It’s like a huge playground for grown up kids. One day I was driving home from the gym and I got too carried away by a drum & bass track Starz & Veela - Second Nature. Unfortunately I crashed my car, it had to be scrapped. Few days after I got this trashy 4x4 Maruti Gipsy. I hated it for the first few days but then I started to realize that it’s the coolest thing I was ever driving. Mind that I had several fly ass E-class Mercedes sedans and some more sporty vehicles. Probably this was the most fun car I ever had.
